confessions galore.

i'm really quite vain. i like taking pictures of myself and i like it when people take pictures of me. i like wearing makeup & fixing my hair, even though it doesn't happen most days. 

sometimes i really like listening to chris brown, pitbull, jason derulo, usher, ke$ha & dare i say it, britney spears. i'm almost disgusted with myself. but do i care? no, not especially.

when i study, i eat cold cereal & drink either diet coke or raspberry lemonade crystal light.

i love snapchat. i think it's the funniest thing since... well... i just think it's super entertaining. i mean whats not to love? i get to send pictures of myself to my friends and they do the same to me. i'd rather snapchat than text.

i seriously have to restrain myself when it comes to macaroni and cheese. why is that crap so dang good?? it takes a ton of willpower to not eat two whole boxes my myself. (it's happened before.)

my little jaunt as a brunette was fun but i'm ready to be blonde again.

i'm supposed to be writing a paper... um. yeah.

awkward/awesome.

awkward: i ruined my favorite sunglasses this week. but thats not the awkward part. the awkward part is that i ruined them because i accidentally sprayed tanning oil like right at my eyes. and then it stripped all the color off. cool. 

awesome: i bought new sunglasses. (see above). they're real nice, i like them a lot. target is mah frennn.

(and i also bought like 4 new shirts while i was there. i just can't help it.)

awkward: rolling out of bed and going to the store with your best friend before you've showered or brushed your teeth or eating or anything. haha. and, it was like 2 in the afternoon... whoops.

awesome: going to look at the old navy clearance rack and finding a super awesome tank for $2. winning. (also see above.)

awesome: the website everyonesmixtape.com is really cool. i like it. 

awkward: that they have a playlist named 'makeout'. haha actually, thats not really awkward, i kinda like that too. 

awkward: forgetting the words to a song that you're singing to really loudly while you're at a stoplight with your windows down. oh and i forgot to mention that there's a full suburban next to you at the light staring at you.

awesome: when you remember all the words to a song and you're with your best friend and the two old ladies next to you at the light tell you and your best friend you remind them of themselves in college.

awkward: the old man riding his bike around the neighborhood with his shirt off.

awesome: the really hot guy running around the neighborhood with his shirt off. 

awkward: i was totally riding this guys butt down the mountain thursday for like 7 or 8 miles because he was going effing slow and i could tell it was a guy with a couple other people in the truck and i was like "oh he's not paying any attention..." so then i passed him and it was my ex boyfriend. haha whoops. he glared at me. what can i say? i was getting impatient!

awesome: i was coming down the mountain in the first place to hang with my besss frannn cause she turned 18 :) 

so basically.

life is awkward.

i really like the fact that i look basically exactly the same with and without makeup on. 

it makes for happy skin & happy jessica & happy all around.

my model face needs some work.

and my hair is real frizzy... haha that's embarrassing.

after fishing every day for a week & a half...

i finally caught four fish.

the two that are showing are small but the other ones are a good size.

awesome/awkward thursdays.

awesome: the sunrise this morning. the fiery orange & bright pink coming up
 over the brown fields & hills took my breath away.
awkward: mah herrrrr. its a tangly mane of who knows what. plus, its at that awkward winter brown. not a fan.

awesome: pulling up to the gas station right as my gas light came on.
awkward: not being able to figure out how to get the gas cap off of my truck... and the guy next to me laughing his head off. don't worry, i figured it out eventually.

awesome: lunch with my girls.
awkward: dani screaming when the water boiled over. its okay, danielle, just turn the heat down...

awesome: english class. we do literally nothing. plus, i'm borrowing the secret life of bees from my teacher for the weekend.
awkward: chemistry class. my teacher is so greatly awkward. she likes us to call her elmo & she's got crazy red hair. she teaches yoga too, which is pretty cool. unfortunately, i have no attention span in that class. (see below photo)

awesome: barns and noble gift cards.
awkward: not being able to decide what book to buy.
