jessica's life in 140 characters or less.

this girl just informed me she's had her children's names picked out since she was 13. uhh i can barely choose what to wear in the morning..

i secretly wish i was a teenager in the 80's.

seriously what is it with country men and their mountain dew?? they're all obsessed.

farmers are charmers.

all i really want is to go back to my junior year of high school. best year ever.

i like ryan reynolds better than ryan gosling.

i really love brushing my teeth.

i kind of really hate girls that have naturally perfect skin. like seriously knock it off.

the mountains make me feel safe and at home. i'm a mountain girl.

okay how did i get such awesome friends?

there's nothing worse than knowing you made a mistake and not knowing what to say or do to make it better.

i'd rather be fishing.

if i had a dollar for every time someone called me to help them break into their car, i'd have $8.

something i get a lot: oh you're from idaho? do you love potatoes? farm potatoes? eat potatoes? live in a potato???

flashback friday.

do you ever get in those moods where all you want to do is look at old pictures and listen to old music? cause i do, and usually it makes me feel better & helps me remember my life is actually pretty damn awesome and that i should probably quit complaining so much.

superbowl 2013

i don't know about you guys, but i thought there were some seriously awesome commercials this superbowl. my hands down favorite was the Budweiser Clydesdales... because i'm a horse girl. i cried. like, tears streaming down my face cried. it was amazing.

and then my second favorite was the dodge ram commercial. i've always been a ford girl, but man was this awesome. i also teared up during this one. it's fine.

And on the eighth day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, "I need a caretaker." So God made a farmer.

God said, "I need somebody willing to get up before dawn, milk cows, work all day in the field, milk cows again, eat supper, then go to town and stay past midnight at a meeting of the school board." So God made a farmer.

God said, "I need somebody willing to sit up all night with a newborn colt and watch it die, then dry his eyes and say,'Maybe next year,' I need somebody who can shape an ax handle from an ash tree, shoe a horse with hunk of car tire, who can make a harness out hay wire, feed sacks and shoe scraps. Who, during planting time and harvest season will finish his 40-hour week by Tuesday noon and then, paining from tractor back, put in another 72 hours." So God made the farmer.

God said, "I need somebody strong enough to clear trees and heave bales, yet gentle enough to yean lambs and wean pigs and tend the pink-comb pullets, who will stop his mower for an hour to splint the leg of a meadowlark."

It had to be somebody who'd plow deep and straight and not cut corners. Somebody to seed, weed, feed, breed, and brake, and disk, and plow, and plant, and tie the fleece and strain the milk, . Somebody who'd bale a family together with the soft, strong bonds of sharing, who would laugh, and then sigh and then reply with smiling eyes when his son says that he wants to spend his life doing what Dad does. "So God made a farmer."

some days, i really love urban dictionary.

have you ever urban-dictionaried your name?
if not i encourage  you to do so.
the results are often hilarious, inappropriate and highly accurate.
take my name for example.

1.Jessica2464 up992 down
A girl you are lucky to know. Jessica tends to have the brightest smile. She usually gives you full attention & have an intense stare that can be intimidating, but she is so sweet there is no need to be scared. If you are a guy & you let Jessica get away then you are a dumb sh*t because once Jessica loves, she loves forever. Jessica deserves guys that will go to the ends of the earth, & walk on fire to be with her. That's how amazing she is. Jessica is also a good friend that is always there for a friend in need. she are loyal, kind & forgiving. Anyone who would take advantage of or lie to Jessica is a worthless piece of poo who doesn't deserve to live. If you have ever wronged Jessica you should be eternally ashamed of yourself.
Jessica stands up for what is right, & tends to do the right thing. She is never too proud to say sorry if they do the wrong thing. Basically Jessica is amazing.

She is a fun loving sweet girl who isn't afraid to speak her mind. She is often loved by others, but there are those who don't like her. She is a thrill seeker and loves to test her limits. She sees herself as an average person, but people find her very sexy and attractive. She tries her best to help those around her, even if they don't fall into her circle. Be warned, if you piss off a jessica she is more likely to make your life such an utter hell for a very long time than forgive you any time soon. However she does look over a lot of things so it is kind of hard to piss her off. She has this carefree air about her, and may seem like a bubble head, but when you get to know her she is a very smart person, and is very complex with her thoughts and her views on life. She loves the arts and animals. She can however be very dominant in a lot of situations and is better left alone when she is having a bad day because if she says she can punch your lights out, then chances are she can. She can brighten anybody's day with a simple hello and a smile, and hates to see others bullied.

oh. my. heck.
my day was made when i read this.
haha.
i love urban dictionary.

anyone lived in a pretty how town.

a poem by e.e. cummings.

anyone lived in a pretty how town
(with up so floating many bells down)
spring summer autumn winter
he sang his didn't he danced his did

Women and men(both little and small)
cared for anyone not at all
they sowed their isn't they reaped their same
sun moon stars rain

children guessed(but only a few
and down they forgot as up they grew
autumn winter spring summer)
that noone loved him more by more

when by now and tree by leaf
she laughed his joy she cried his grief
bird by snow and stir by still
anyone's any was all to her

someones married their everyones
laughed their cryings and did their dance
(sleep wake hope and then)they
said their nevers they slept their dream

stars rain sun moon
(and only the snow can begin to explain
how children are apt to forget to remember
with up so floating many bells down)

one day anyone died i guess
(and noone stooped to kiss his face)
busy folk buried them side by side
little by little and was by was

all by all and deep by deep
and more by more they dream their sleep
noone and anyone earth by april
wish by spirit and if by yes.

Women and men(both dong and ding)
summer autumn winter spring
reaped their sowing and went their came
sun moon stars rain

some word vomit.

dream catcher

1) today i did this strange little facebook survey on the usu page. and girls are dirty little liars! there was a question that said something along the lines of "drama prone or easy going?" AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM SAID EASY GOING. lets be honest, i guarantee half of you are lying. (& liars have no friends and go to hell. true story.)

2) also, in same said fb survey. why the crap does no one like country music?! would you rather listen to drugs and sex than cowboys and trucks? i'm pretty sure there's two of us who admitted to it. i really don't understand the whole 'rap only' music lovers. just don't get it.

3) fourteen days left of high school.
what?!

4) i better get one of these scholarships i applied for. if i don't, i'll be raging.

5) i did one of those honey mask things that you see aallll over pinterest.
yes, i smeared honey all over my beautiful face. i didn't take a picture on purpose. but guess what? it definitely made my skin way soft but not greasy, and it made all my redness go away! and i'm surprised because i have super acne prone skin so this will be a keeper. (pinterest said that it's also good for your acne to rub olive oil into your skin... yeah i won't be trying that one anytime soon.)

6) i like crystal light, pony tails & 80 degree weather.

and thats all.
peace n' blessings
jessica.

honesty & integrity.

pay attention, i'm about to teach you something very important.

honesty

Honesty

crazy stuff has been happening in my family & although it's more challenging than i could have ever imagined it to be, somehow i feel okay. we don't know what's exactly happening and it's an understatement to say we're flying by the seat of our pants.
this week, i've learned a couple of things that surprise me.

-lesson number one-
family is the most valuable support network you have.

really though. i have the most amazing family ever. not only are they loving & supportive, they drop everything going on to make sure you're okay. for us, they dropped work and other personal matters and drove for hours to get to us. it is so comforting to know that no matter what the outcome of things are, i have places i can go.

-lesson number two-
BE HONEST. IN EVERYTHING. FOR REAL. YOU THINK I'M ONLY HALF SERIOUS BUT CHILD, YOU DON'T KNOW A THING.

i don't know how else to say this.
honesty and integrity are your two most valuable personal assets. you think it's okay to steal things from classmates because it's small. you think it's okay to make a commitment and then flake out at the last minute. you think it's okay to become 'friends' with someone because you want something from them.
IT'S NOT.
to all my fellow classmates: you think that integrity is just something you grow as soon as you graduate from high school? you're insane. it is a either a part of you or not a part of you.
there is no partial integrity. you think you're just going to suddenly become honest when you enter the workforce? please, no. if you're dishonest in one aspect of your life you are going to find it extremely difficult to be honest in the rest. thats when it begins to hurt other people & that.is.not.okay.
understand?

-lesson number three-
(and this one i'm so guilty of. like, so guilty. but you can believe me when i say this is changing. now.)
speculation and rumor spreading and judging people for something you *think* happened or you *think* is true is not okay.

oh, you know for sure what happened? were you there? oh you heard it from her who heard it from him who told her all about it.
NO.
please, stop.
there is plenty of speculation and false stories and inaccurate information portrayed by the media and by people who read the media. it's.not.all.true.
if you want to know exactly what's going on, ask me. if not me, than one of my family members. ask someone who's directly involved so you can get facts. not facts that have been passed through three people's tongues, not facts that are from a funky news article that has a name & a picture. things are skewed by the media for ratings. just accept that your 'source' isn't accurate unless it's first hand, please.
before i go completely insane.

-lesson number four-
i am grateful for a savior who knows exactly how this feels.

christ knows.
injustice does not last forever.
false allegations can't stand.
things will be judged how they're meant to be in the end.
everything will work out.
i honestly have no idea what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next year. things could stay the same but more than likely there will be some huge changes in my life coming up.
but i feel okay because i know that someone else has felt this and more.

tears come and go (they come more often than not).
i'm living off of diet coke & oreos. (thanks nicki.)
asdoija;sdfgij'asifj.

& that's my heart right now.

love,
jessica.

(another) hunger games review.

okay lets be honest here,

there have been bajillions of people reviewing this movie.
and i'm sure you've already read 50 other posts about it.
some people hated it, and some things bothered some people, and some people loved it.
so to make it short,

i thought it was perfect.

except for the mutts.
they coulda done those better.

the end.

love, jess.
